K.T.S.P Mandal a renowned educational institution in Raigad District was establsihed in year 1957 . Being registered as a public trust and society ,K.T.S.P Mandal has been striving to achieve the objectives of bringing about a transformation in the educational, cultural and social fields of Maharasthra.Its running 11 schools in English & Marathi medium ,3 Junior Colleges ,a Polytechnic and a senior college.K.M.C College
K.M.C.College is an ambitious and progressive institution aimed at quality education. It was set up in 1979 to cater to the needs of higher education in khopoli and adjoining areas. The College is affiliated to Mumbai University and offers education in Arts, Commerce,& Science streams. We are meeting the education requirement of around two thousand six hundred student today.Our main focus is on discipline, career orientation and personality development of our students. To us, Teaching-Learning and Evaluation is vital to the development of our college. In this context, we have evolved different academic, extracurricular, and sports activities to make the student prime player in the educational field. Our college offers many opportunities for all round development of the student’s personalities. Facilities offered include a well-equipped Library & Reading Room, Ladies Common Room, Gymkhana & Canteen among others. Location
K.M.C. College is situated in the heart of Khopoli in a self contained campus. Khopoli is situated at the foot of the Sahyadri Mountain on the Mumbai-Pune Highway in Raigad District & is well connected to Mumbai, Pune & other nearby areas.National High-Way No.4 connecting Mumbai to Pune runs through khopoli. The local railway also links Khopoli to Mumbai.
Programs Offered
The College offers three years integrated degree courses in B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com. Besides a number of traditional subjects the college also offers B.Sc. in Computer Science & M.Sc. in Computer Science. The college has stared M.Sc. (By Research) in Chemistry and M.Sc. by paper in Inorganic Chemistry. K.M.C. College also offers admission to Junior college (Arts). Besides we are running a center of Yashwantrao Chavan Open University, Nasik offering education leading to B.A. & B.Com degrees.The college has newly started a Ph.D in Chemistry and started a new research lab also.
